About Us
For the very best in plants, shrubs, bespoke hanging baskets, creative border design and hard and soft landscaping service call Shanks Nursery & Plant Centre.
We have a passion for plants and are a dedicated retail nursery interested only in provided the very best in quality and service whether if you just want to browse, or you are interested in design from introduction to concept through to design and build.
We aim to grow as much as we can, but as some plants are best grown by specialists, we source as locally as we can. By knowing our growers, they can ensure we have the best quality and plants that are seasoned and will happily grow in the surrounding soil conditions.
We have done work for the Chelsea Flower Show (receiving a RHS Certificate of commendation (Chelsea 2007, 2008 and 2009) and we were co sponsors of Hampton Courts Gardens in 2008 designed by Francesca Cleary so we really can say no job is too big or too small!
